Precision Grinding and Polishing
Rome Metals has the capability to hold close tolerances and achieve highly polished surfaces using our two vacuum chuck precision grinders.
Depending on input material, plate tolerances of +/-.002" are achieved.
Rome can grind plates up to 60" wide x 240" long.
Detailed inspection maps of your material are standard operating procedure at Rome Metals.
We have large granite inspection tables that are calibrated for flatness to measure the quality of our work and the material handling equipment to care for your material once it is ground.
