Grit Blasting
The grit blasting operation is performed at the Rochester Facility.
We have three blast rooms available here.
They are capable of utilizing a chilled iron grit or non-metallic grit medium.
Rome provides customers with the finest metal cleaning services possible on a variety of metal products up to 18' wide, 48’ long, and weighing up to 25 tons.
Our grit blasting operation is capable of removing scales and oxides from large slabs, plates, ingots, castings, and bar products as well as from the inside and outside diameters of pipe and tubing.
Our blasting department also specializes in exotic scrap cleaning.
We do every job economically and efficiently – to a SP 10 near white finish.
